The B48 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four in the F60 JCW Countryman ALL4 is BMW's B48 under MINI badging — same engine family as the BMW 330i and 430i, running the MEVD17 or MG1CS003 DME depending on production year. The JCW Countryman is the highest factory-output MINI four, starting from 302–306 bhp / 450 Nm. Stage 1 targets up to 330 bhp / 470 Nm from OEM hardware, calibrated for clean ALL4 launch and a broad torque curve — 99 RON strongly recommended for the full figure. Stage 2 adds intercooler, decat / sports cat and intake for up to 360 bhp / 520 Nm. The Countryman ALL4 is the heaviest MINI variant, and the ALL4 drivetrain adds more drivetrain loss than the front-wheel-drive hatch models; the calibration is built for that specific combination. The JCW Countryman starts from the highest factory B48 output MINI ships — 302–306 bhp / 450 Nm. Stage 1 closes the gap to the hardware ceiling: up to 330 bhp / 470 Nm from the OEM engine, calibrated for clean ALL4 launch and usable torque at road speeds. 99 RON is strongly recommended for the full Stage 1 figure; on 95 RON the calibration is adjusted to protect the engine but the peak output is reduced. Stage 2 adds intercooler, decat / sports cat and intake for up to 360 bhp / 520 Nm. The heavier Countryman ALL4 body and drivetrain loss mean the wheel power figures are proportionally lower than in the lighter hatch, but the crank output is the same. Every map is log-reviewed after the first flash before sign-off.
