About / The story

Built by hand.
Tuned by name.
Earned the hard way

Over a decade ago, I started with nothing but a passion for cars, a dream to build a business, and no easy route into the tuning industry.

Chapter 01

The slave tuner years

Like many people starting out, I began as a slave tuner — flashing files that were sent to me by others, taking datalogs, and trying to understand what made one car perform better than another. At first, I trusted the process. But it didn't take long to realise something wasn't right.

The software I was being supplied simply wasn't good enough. The results were inconsistent. Some cars drove well, others didn't. Some made power, others had issues hidden behind the numbers.

I could either keep depending on other people's work, or take the much harder route and learn how to calibrate properly myself.

"I chose
the hard route"

Chapter 02

Late nights, real cars, real consequences

What followed was years of late nights, stress, setbacks, and trial and error. Different ECUs. Different platforms. Different tools. Problems that rarely had simple answers.

There were plenty of times I questioned whether I should have just found someone else to write files for me. It would have been easier, faster, and probably cheaper. But I didn't want easy. I wanted to understand it properly.

I spent everything I had chasing that knowledge — including buying specific cars purely because I wanted to learn how to tune them. Those cars became development tools. I tested, logged, adjusted, failed, learned, and repeated the process until things started to make sense.

I started working from someone else's unit, where I built a dyno cell. That was where the foundations were built. Long days, sleepless nights, and a constant obsession with getting better.

Chapter 03

The plunge

Eventually, the reputation and workload outgrew that setup. I took the plunge and invested in a huge tuning workshop — far too expensive and well beyond my comfort zone at the time. But I knew I could make it work.

And I did. The business grew into one of the busiest tuning shops in the North. We built a team, worked on hundreds of cars, handled serious builds, and pushed through the pressure that comes with running a fast-growing performance business.

Through COVID and out the other side, the business kept evolving. By that stage, the craft had been refined. I was no longer just tuning for local customers — I was tuning for other tuners, workshops, and clients across the country and beyond.

What started as a small local operation had grown into an international tuning outfit.

For me, tuning has never just been about making more power.
It has always been about chasing perfection.

Chapter 04

Manchester HQ — a development centre

As the business matured, we made the decision to downsize the workshop and focus only on what matters most: bespoke builds, development work, and high-level ECU calibration.

The Manchester HQ is now a dedicated development centre for our software, equipped with a purpose-built dyno cell and a Bapro 4WD rolling road. It allows us to test, validate, and refine calibrations properly — not guess, not copy, and not rely on generic solutions.

The demo fleet keeps us ahead of the latest developments — constantly testing new platforms, new strategies, and new software solutions before any of it ever touches a customer's car.

Philosophy

Proper calibration is an art
— and it's the one I built my life around

  • 01

No generic maps — every calibration is tailored to the customer and the car

  • 02

    Data-driven decisions, never assumption

  • 03

    Consistency, drivability, safe power

  • 04

Repeatable results across climates, fuels and setups

  • 05

    Maximum performance without compromising reliability

Why clients choose me

No fluff. Real results

01

Direct communication

You speak to the tuner. Not a sales channel, not a junior. The same person calibrating your car.

02

Problem solver

Years of solving things other tuners refuse to touch — knock thresholds, fuel trim drift, torque limit fights, gearbox behaviour.

03

Worldwide remote

Proven across UK winters, Middle East summers, US E85, Aus 98 RON. Climate-aware calibration.

04

Constant development

A dyno cell that runs every day. New chassis, new strategies, new software — tested before it ever ships.

05

Fast response

Most messages answered same-day. Most files turned around within 24 hours.

06

No fluff

No marketing power figures. Real numbers, real logs, real results.

Today

Experience.
Obsession. Data.
Development. Results

No generic files. No shortcuts. Just proper calibration, built by someone who has spent over a decade chasing perfection.
