The BMW M5 (F10) (F10, 2010–2017) runs the S63 4.4L twin-turbo V8 and leaves the factory at 552 bhp · 680 Nm, RWD, 7-speed DCT. Samuel tunes the F10 Saloon to the same standard — every map hand-calibrated for the specific car, its fuel grade and its installed hardware, not a base file loaded and left. M5 (F10) Stage 1 alone takes it from 552 bhp · 680 Nm to 650 bhp · 850 Nm on the standard turbo, flashed over OBD on BM3, MHD or MG Flasher.
Add the Stage 2 hardware and the M5 (F10) targets 720 bhp · 900 Nm; from there the S63 stretches to around 1000 bhp on a hybrid or big-turbo build with supporting fuelling. Whichever stage suits the M5 (F10), the file is delivered within 24 hours and is fully reversible to the supplied stock calibration.

The F10 M5 runs the S63, BMW M's 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8, with twin-scroll housings and direct injection. From the factory, BMW M calibrated the F10 M5 at 552 bhp / 680 Nm (Competition trim 567 / 680). BMW M5 F10 tuning with Samuel exploits the substantial fuelling and turbo headroom the S63 carries from the factory, Stage 1 alone closes the gap to a stock F90 M5. The MEVD17.2.G DME flashes cleanly via the OBD port; no bench work required.

No hardware required. The MEVD17.2.G DME is flashed via the OBD port, boost pressure, ignition timing, fuel delivery and torque limiters all revised. BMW M5 F10 Stage 1 unlocks 650 bhp / 850 Nm from the OEM hardware (up from 552-567 / 680 stock), with significantly more accessible torque through the mid-range. The single most cost-effective change available on the F10 M5.
Every M5 F10 tune Samuel produces is calibrated individually for the specific car, fuel grade and installed hardware, not a base map loaded and left. BMW M5 F10 tuning done correctly accounts for the F10 chassis behaviour, the M-DCT gearbox calibration and UK fuel quality; the map is reviewed against your data logs after the first flash and revised before sign-off.

The map is flashed through the OBD port on BM3, MHD or MG Flasher and is the starting point for almost every M5 (F10) owner — broader torque and sharper throttle response from the factory hardware.

Stage 2 on the M5 (F10) targets 720 bhp · 900 Nm and needs downpipes + intakes. Everything else — turbo, fuel system, intercooler — holds within the Stage 2 figures on the S63.
On the right hardware spec the S63 in the M5 (F10) reaches around 1000 bhp. Stage 1 and Stage 2 run the standard turbo; beyond that needs a hybrid or full big-turbo conversion with supporting fuelling, and the calibration is built bespoke per car.
Yes — later M5 (F10) (F10) cars ship with a locked DME that must be unlocked once before any map can be written. It's a one-time step; after that the M5 (F10) flashes normally over OBD and the tune is fully reversible to the supplied stock file.
Remotely. Once Samuel has your build details, the calibrated M5 (F10) map is delivered to your flashing tool account (BM3, MHD or MG Flasher) within 24 hours and you flash it yourself over OBD in about 15 minutes. It's fully reversible — the original S63 stock file is supplied before you flash, so the car can return to factory at any time.
A factory warranty can be voided if BMW shows a tune caused a specific failure, so it's a personal call. Samuel's M5 (F10) maps are calibrated to stay within the mechanical limits of the S63 hardware, and because the tune is reversible to stock before any dealer visit, many owners run a tuned M5 (F10) without issue.
