About this tune
The F32 / F33 / F36 435i (2013-2016) is the coupe, convertible and Gran Coupe variant of the N55, same engine, turbo, ECU and ZF 8HP gearbox as the 335i and M235i. Stock is 302 bhp / 400 Nm. Available as the F32 coupe, F33 convertible and F36 Gran Coupe. The GT-flavoured pick of the N55 family, sits between the 335i and the M235i in chassis personality, sharing the entire N55 hardware ceiling with both.
BMW 435i tuning
The F32 / F33 / F36 435i (2013–2020) brings the N55 into 4 Series coupe, convertible and Gran Coupe form, sharing engine, turbo, MEVD17.2 DME and ZF 8HP gearbox with the F30 335i. Factory output is 302 bhp / 400 Nm, rear-wheel drive. All three body styles — F32 Coupe, F33 Convertible, F36 Gran Coupe — run the same core map; body weight and configuration differ but the N55 calibration is identical across them. Stage 1 on the 435i reaches 380 bhp / 500 Nm from the OEM hardware with no parts required; Stage 2 with downpipe, intake or panel filter and intercooler targets 420 bhp / 550 Nm. Stage 2+ adds the B58 TU fuel pump for 440 bhp / 600 Nm; from there, a hybrid or big-turbo build takes the N55 to around 800 bhp on the right hardware spec.
The F32 / F33 / F36 435i is the 4 Series form of the N55 — coupe, convertible and Gran Coupe on the same rear-drive platform. All three body variants run identical hardware, and Samuel maps them to the same spec: 380 bhp · 500 Nm at Stage 1 on BM3, MHD or MG Flasher, every file hand-calibrated for the specific car and its fuel grade, not a base map. Stage 2 targets 420 bhp · 550 Nm with hardware; Stage 2+ reaches 440 bhp · 600 Nm with the TU fuel pump added. The map is delivered within 24 hours and is fully reversible to the supplied stock calibration.

The N55 in the 435i is the same unit as the F30 335i, M235i and F10 535i — same block, same turbo, same MEVD17.2 DME, same stage targets. Samuel's 435i calibration accounts for the F32 / F33 / F36 body weights and the ZF 8HP's torque limits, which is where xHP gearbox calibration becomes relevant at Stage 2 and above. Stage 1 delivers 380 bhp · 500 Nm from the OEM hardware; Stage 2 adds the supporting airflow upgrades for 420 bhp · 550 Nm; Stage 2+ with the TU fuel pump reaches the stock turbo's practical ceiling at 440 bhp · 600 Nm. A factory warranty can be voided if BMW attributes a specific failure to the tune — that's a personal decision. Samuel's 435i maps stay within the mechanical limits of the N55 hardware and are reversible to stock before any dealer visit. Many owners run tuned 435i cars without issue.
BM3 is the most established for the N55 and the best pick if you want realtime monitoring through the app. MHD remains strong on the N55 with a comprehensive data-logging toolset for Stage 1 through Stage 2+. MG Flasher is a clean alternative for owners already in that ecosystem. The map Samuel builds is the same across all three; the choice is your flashing tool.
The F32 / F33 / F36 435i runs the ZF 8HP automatic; xHP gearbox calibration matches the shift logic and torque limits to the ECU map. Strongly recommended at Stage 2 and above. At Stage 1 it is optional but noticeable. Available as an add-on.
