Toyota Supra 3.0 tuning
Samuel starts with the Supra 3.0's MG1CS003 DME — its specific calibration, your fuel grade, and the hardware sheet you submit. The GR Supra 3.0 (J29/DB chassis, 2019–present) runs the BMW B58 Gen 2 straight-six under a Toyota badge — same engine family as the Z4 M40i and M340i, same DME, same flash path. Stage 1 goes in over OBD: 382 bhp / 500 Nm to 440 bhp / 680 Nm without any hardware changes. Stage 2 is calibrated around a downpipe (OPF delete if applicable) and intake, targeting 480 bhp / 700 Nm. Stage 3 is bespoke, built around the hybrid or big-turbo spec you submit. The Supra is rear-wheel drive only, 8-speed ZF automatic — the same driveline context as the Z4, and the same calibration precision.

About this tune
The Toyota GR Supra 3.0 (J29 / DB, 2019–present) is a Toyota-badged sports coupe built on a shared BMW-Toyota platform — B58 Gen 2 engine, MG1CS003 DME, ZF 8HP automatic, rear-wheel drive only. The Supra shares its core drivetrain and ECU with the BMW Z4 M40i; both cars run the same B58 Gen 2 map family. Samuel tunes the Supra and the Z4 M40i to the same standard — the platform differences between the two chassis are in suspension tuning and body structure, not the ECU calibration. xHP gearbox calibration is available as an add-on, matching the 8HP to the revised ECU output.

What the Supra 3.0 map revision covers: B58 Gen 2 stages explained
The MG1CS003 DME in the GR Supra 3.0 controls boost pressure, torque limits and throttle response — and the factory calibration runs all three conservatively. The B58 Gen 2 has the TU (technical update) fuel pump fitted from the factory, unlike the older Gen 1 cars; this means Stage 2 headroom is available without the additional pump upgrade required on earlier B58 models. Samuel's Stage 1 map revises boost, ignition timing and torque targets: 440 bhp / 680 Nm from the OEM hardware, flashed via the OBD port. Stage 2 recalibrates around downpipe (OPF delete if applicable) and intake, targeting 480 bhp / 700 Nm. Stage 3 is built individually around whatever hybrid or big-turbo hardware is on the car, with every map log-reviewed after the first flash before sign-off.

No hardware required. The MG1CS003 DME is flashed via the OBD port. Toyota Supra Stage 1 unlocks 440 bhp and 680 Nm from the OEM hardware (up from 382 / 500 stock). The Toyota Supra chip tuning starting point and by far the most popular single modification on the J29 platform, the most cost-effective change you can make.

The calibrated Supra map is delivered to your BM3, MHD or MG Flasher account within 24 hours of payment confirmation. You flash it over OBD yourself in around 15 minutes — Samuel personally calibrates every file, no automated delivery.
Yes — the original B58 Gen 2 stock file is supplied before you flash, so the car can return to factory calibration at any time. The MG1CS003 DME is flashed exactly the same way as on the Z4 M40i and M340i; the process is clean and reversible.
A factory warranty can be voided if Toyota attributes a specific failure to the tune — that is a personal call. Samuel's Supra maps are calibrated to stay within the mechanical limits of the B58 Gen 2 hardware, and the tune is fully reversible to stock before any dealer visit. Many owners run a tuned Supra without issue.
BM3 is the most widely used on the B58 Gen 2 platform and the best pick if you want realtime monitoring through the app. MHD covers Stage 1 and Stage 2 cleanly with a strong data-logging toolset. MG Flasher is a clean alternative for owners already in that ecosystem. Samuel delivers the same hand-built calibration across all three — you are choosing your flashing tool, not the map quality.
