Bootmod3 Login, App & Support Help
How to log in, install the bootmod3 app on iOS and Android, fix the usual account and connection snags, and where to get proper support.

Bootmod3 (you'll see it written as bm3) is an app-driven, cloud-based flashing platform. It's our primary platform for G-series builds and runs custom calibration on the B58, S58, N55, S55, B48 and S63 among others. Most of the time it just works — but if you've landed here, you're probably stuck on a bootmod3 login, hunting for the right app download, or chasing a connection that won't hold. This is a plain, no-nonsense walkthrough, and at the end we'll explain why most of our customers let us handle the licence and tuning side entirely.
How to log in to bootmod3
Your bootmod3 login is a single account that ties together the bootmod3 website, the app on your phone and any licence you hold against a specific VIN. You create the account once at bootmod3.net, then sign in with the same email and password everywhere. The account is what carries your purchase, so it matters that you set it up cleanly the first time.
To sign in:
- Open the bootmod3 app or go to the bootmod3 website at bootmod3.net.
- Enter the email address you registered with — not an alias or a second inbox you rarely check.
- Enter your bootmod3 password. It's case-sensitive, so watch for an autocapitalised first letter on mobile.
- If you've genuinely forgotten it, use the reset link rather than guessing repeatedly and tripping a temporary lockout.
One account, one email. Mixing up which inbox you signed up with is the single most common reason a bootmod3 login fails.
Downloading the bootmod3 app (iOS and Android)
Bootmod3 is built around its app — that's how maps are delivered over the air (OTA) and flashed to the car. There is no OBD cable in the loop for the flash itself; the app talks to the ECU through a supported wireless interface. So before anything else, get the right app installed and updated.
Where to get the bootmod3 app:
- iOS: search the App Store for "bootmod3" and install the official listing from the publisher. Keep iOS itself up to date — an old OS version can stop a flash mid-session.
- bootmod3 android: install from the Google Play Store, again from the official listing. On Android, make sure Bluetooth and location permissions are granted, because the app needs them to discover the flashing interface.
- After installing, open the app, sign in with your bootmod3 login, and let it pull down any pending updates before you go near the car.
A quick word on hardware: the app needs a compatible wireless interface to reach the car. If the app installs fine but never sees the vehicle, the problem is almost always the interface or its pairing — not the app itself. We'll come back to that below.
Common account and connection issues (and how to fix them)
Nearly every support query we field on bm3 falls into one of a handful of buckets. Work through these in order before assuming anything is broken.
Bootmod3 password and login problems
If you can't get past the login screen:
- Reset the bootmod3 password from bootmod3.net rather than the app if the in-app reset email isn't arriving — then check spam and promotions folders.
- Confirm you're using the exact email you registered. A licence bought under one address won't appear under another.
- Give a reset link a few minutes; requesting five in a row can invalidate the earlier ones and confuse things further.
- If the account itself looks empty after you log in, you're almost certainly in the wrong account, not missing a purchase.
App won't connect to the car
If you're logged in but the flash won't start or drops out:
- Turn the ignition fully on (accessory mode), engine off, with a healthy battery — low voltage is the number one cause of failed or paused flashes. Put a charger on the car for any serious session.
- Close other apps that grab Bluetooth, and forget/re-pair the flashing interface in your phone's Bluetooth settings.
- Disable battery optimisation for the bootmod3 app on Android so the OS doesn't kill it mid-flash.
- Don't lock the phone or let it sleep during a flash. Sit with it, screen on, until it completes.
- If a flash interrupts, don't panic and don't start the car — re-establish the connection and let the app recover or re-flash. The platform is designed to handle this.
Battery voltage and a stable wireless link account for the overwhelming majority of connection failures. Sort those two and most problems disappear.
Licence and VIN issues
A bootmod3 licence is tied to a VIN. If you've changed cars, or bought a vehicle that already had bm3 on it, the licence situation needs sorting before maps will behave. This is exactly the kind of thing that's quicker to resolve with someone who does it daily, rather than trial and error on a forum thread.

Message SamuelWhere to get official bootmod3 support
For anything to do with your account, the platform itself, billing or a licence transfer, the official route is the bootmod3 website at bootmod3.net — that's the canonical bootmod3 contact point and bootmod3 support channel for platform-level issues. The in-app help and their documented support form go to the same place. If you're looking for a genuine bootmod3 review before you commit, treat the platform and the tune as two separate questions: bm3 is mature, well-supported software, but the result you actually feel comes from the calibration loaded onto it.
Use official platform support for:
- Account access you genuinely can't recover, or a suspected billing error.
- Licence ownership and VIN transfers between vehicles.
- Confirmed software faults or app crashes that survive a reinstall.
Use your tuner — us — for everything to do with the actual maps: what stage suits your fuel and hardware, why a log looks the way it does, and how the car drives. The platform delivers the file; it doesn't write it for you.

Honestly, most of our customers never touch a support form. Bootmod3 is our primary platform for G-series cars, and we run it end to end — sorting the licence, building a custom calibration for your exact engine, fuel and hardware, and delivering tested maps OTA with full custom-tune support behind them. You install the app, sign in, and flash; we do the technical heavy lifting and we're on the other end of WhatsApp when you want to talk it through. If you'd rather skip the troubleshooting and just get a properly calibrated car, message us on WhatsApp or head to our contact page and tell us your chassis and goals — we'll take it from there.
